It is both wonderful and sad to watch Clayton Kershaw pitch. It’s wonderful that the G.O.A.T. is still pitching, but it’s sad to see what he has become. Last night, he threw six pitches that were 90.0 – 9.5 MPH. If he had 2-3 more MPH on his fastball, his margin for error would…
For various personal reasons, I have temporarily shut down this site, but I have not stopped being a Dodger fan, and I have not stopped watching Dodger Baseball and following the team. In the past couple of weeks, I have come to understand that half of the fans are dumber than…

It was July 12, 2024, and the Dodgers had just been swept by the Phillies. Everyone, and I mean damn near “EVERYONE” was saying that the Dodgers were crap, could NEVER win, WOULD NEVER WIN, etc., etc. So, as I am prone to EVERY YEAR because this is what you do EVERY YEAR (You go…
Thirty-one years ago, after being incarcerated for seven years, five months, and five days, I was the defendant and lawyer in a five-day trial, and on August 31, 1994, I had my conviction overturned, and I walked out of a courtroom after the judge ordered a Sheriff to “ Take…
I remember back in 2001 when Baseball America came out with their first Prospect Handbook. It was the only year when it was 5.5″ wide by 8.65″ high. Since then, they have been 5.75 wide by 9″ high… FYI. The Dodgers’ #1-ranked prospect in 2001 was RHP Ben Diggins, who never…
That would be Tanner Scott. That’s all I have to say about it. The Dodgers drafted two players at #40 and #41, namely Zach Root and Charles Davalan. Here is the lowdown on Root: Root pitched as a reliable starter for two seasons for East Carolina in 2023 and 2024 before…
The Pacific Coast League (PCL) has historically been one of the most challenging leagues for pitchers in professional baseball. Here’s why — and how it affects both pitchers and hitters: Why the PCL is Tough on Pitchers: High Elevation & Dry Air Many PCL cities (like…
Sean Linan. He is a 6-foot-tall, 185-pound RHP who is 20 years old and pitched last night for the Great Lakes Loons. His rise from the backfields of Colombia to the bright lights of Triple-A is a testament to both talent and timing. Signed by the Dodgers in 2022, Liñan toiled in…
The season is a little over halfway completed, and I have seen enough of Tanner Scott and Kirby Yates to last a lifetime! Tanner Scott leads MLB in blown saves with six. He is the Dodgers’ closer and lead arsonist. Kirby Yates has struck out 42 hitters in 27 IP, and he still…
