Several Dodgers fans have seemingly mocked Andrew Friedman, who has been the architect of the most amazing ten-year run in baseball history. They saw the San Diego Padres trade for Mason Miller, JP Sears (since sent to the minors), Ryan O’Hearn, and Ramon Laureano. Miller and…
The Dodger players saw the team cut Jason Heyward in 2024 when he was hitting .208 with a .682 OPS. Next, they saw the Dodgers cut Chris Taylor, who played all over the field and, like Heyward, was beloved by his teammates. Finally, the Dodgers cut ties with Austin Barnes (The…
I initially said the Dodgers should stick with Michael Conforto, but I’ve changed my mind. Sometimes, you have to make an example of someone, and Conforto is the scapegoat, but very deserving! It didn’t work, it’s over. Move on… there’s nothing to see here, folks. The pitching…
I get some crazy e-mails on a weekly basis. Some are unworthy or unreadable, but yesterday, I got this e-mail with the above graphic attached (which was neither unworthy or unreadable): “ I was researching the Brooklyn Bum and came across your site/recent post (good luck with…
Contrary to popular belief, I am still here. However, I have a lot going on at 72 years old: I am finishing my book, and it is taking a lot of time (May 2026 is the tentative release), and I am working with a group who have helped 272 other authors reach the Top 10; My daughter…
This could be the game when it all started back, and the Dodgers got on the World Series Train. Time will tell, but Ohtani, Betts, Muncy, Teoscar, Pages, and Freeland all had multi-hit games. Muncy was particularly devastating. Alexis Diaz did not impress, but overall the 12-6…
Let’s assume that Person A hates baseball, but goes with Person B to a baseball game. Person B is you… a rabid Dodger fan. So, you sit and watch the game with your friend, and it goes into extra innings with the Dodgers winning in 13 innings. Person B (You) is ecstatic while…
Let me get right to the point: Bill Plaschke writes stuff that appeals to real stupid fans, which is half of the Dodger base. In his latest fish wrap-worthy tome on how Andrew Friedman failed at the trade deadline, he once again displayed how plaque buildup in his pea brain…
Alex Freeland was born with a clubfoot, a deformity in which one or both feet are twisted out of position. He indeed entered the world with his right foot askew, and he spent his first year of life undergoing several procedures to correct it. I think that he has figured it out…
The morons wanted to see soooo many trades by the Dodgers. Many morons predicted all kinds of trades at the deadline for the Dodgers. That’s what morons do. I had expected that May and Outman would be dealt, and that is what happened. Now, they can get down to business. The…
It is a proven fact that when Shohei Ohtani focuses on pitching, he is one of the top two hitters in the game. When he pitches as well, his focus is not solely on hitting, and it shows. His batting average is .270-.280 when he hits and pitches, while it is over .300 when he only…
