I was tied up at the Craft Beer Conference all day yesterday. The 2025 Craft Brewers Conferen ce & BrewExpo America was held in Indianapolis, Indiana, from April 28 to May 1, 2025. This is the premier gathering for beverage alcohol producers in the US, featuring educational…
Last night’s game should not count as the Dodgers played the Little Sister of the Poor. The Marlins are an embarrassment to baseball, and Sandy Alcántara is a shell of himself. Matt Sauer acquitted himself nicely (he’s a great story) and Kike kept his ERA at 0.00. Matt Sauer…
In case you’ve been hiding under a rock, you probably realize that the Dodgers have a lot of pitchers with arm issues, and that this is something that plagues every team. They are trying to figure it out, but a lot of it was already in place before they were drafted, and then…
Remember when Dodger fans were pining for David Bednar? He was the flavor of the month in 2023 when he had 39 saves and an ERA of 2.00. Since then, he has an ERA over 5.00 – 5.77 in 2024 and 5.40 so far this year. Be careful what you wish for. Remember when just about every…
So over the past few days, I have heard that Max Muncy is toast, the Dodgers should trade for Nolan Arenado, Luis Robert, Jr., Cedric Mullins, Walker Buehler, Julio Rodriguez, and that Dave Roberts is making lots of managing blunders. In other words – this Dodger team is so…
Kirby Yates is a closer for second-tier teams. Do not put him in that situation again. That’s all I have to say about it! ^#@$&!
That would be the Dodgers. They are going to have to get younger and I am sure the Dodger brass is thinking just that… however, it likely won’t be this year. Andy Pages has a runway that is at least a month longer. Max Muncy’s runway is longer. Kike, CT3, Barnsie, and MiggyRo…
Yesterday, I was reading a comment that a certain player’s batting averages were down, as if that was bad. Well, it’s not whether a batting average is good or not; it’s whether other statistics can explain the BA. I never use BA alone as a stat or indicator of anything. For…
Bobby Miller is maddening! Yet, I can’t hate him. You see, I could hit triple digits when I was young, and no one even offered me a deal because my pitches were flat and straight! Bobby Miller is in the show, but he looks horrible. I will not belabor this with a lot of thinking…
After Blake Snell went down for a few days, some fans complained that the Dodgers did not have enough pitching. I beg to differ. Landon Knack had a bad game when he was called up, so that means he can never pitch… right? Well, he didn’t pitch great last night. We shall see……
Some days, you just can’t catch a break, or maybe you are sleepwalking. It was funny watching Miggy Ro pitch and imitate other pitchers. Other than that, just move on. There’s nothing to see. https://twitter.com/DodgerBlue1958/status/1911260507757314385 If Andy Pages hadn’t…
