The Oklahoma City Dodgers’ 4A Affiliate, the Los Angeles Dodgers, continued to be unable to get a clutch hit, even on a night when Cody Bellinger got two hits, including a 2-Run HR, again leading us to wonder for the 37th time this year “Is Cody Getting his MojoBack?” I would…
I watch selected Minor League Games, sometimes switching from OKC to Tulsa to Great Lakes and even to Ranch Cucamonga. Last night I watch Bobby Miller take the mound for the Tulsa Drillers as they played the Wichita Wind Surge at ONEOK Field in Tulsa. Bobby Miller earned his…
In my opinion, Ryan Pepiot has graduated from AAA as has Mitch White . There is nothing for them to do or accomplish there – It is time for the Show. That also might apply to Mike Busch . By the All-Star Break, he could be in the Show, as he hit his 4th AAA HR last night. He…
The Dodger’s former Ace, Walker Buehler, had arthroscopic surgery yesterday to remove a bone spur. They say that does not accept his return timetable. A bone spur could not have caused any of his arm issues either… right? Of course not. It’s just his arm! There is really no…
Berra # 8 What comes to mind when the name Yogi is mentioned? For some it is a cartoon character bear. But before that show, there was a guy named Lawrence who as a youth was tagged with that nickname. He was small in stature, but one of the best there ever would be at his given…
You all know that I have had Dave Roberts back since he became the Dodgers’ Manager. Many of you have blamed Dodger’s failures on Roberts – I have put it on the players. Doc is not perfect and has made mistakes, but it is up to the players to execute. Plain and Simple! Let me…
… and I am not talking about the Old Bear… Michael Norris. He’s not going to get me because I can outrun him! At least for 50 feet! I’m talking about “the Bear” that got the Dodgers the past two days. I don’t even want to write a word of what happened in yesterday’s game for…
Last night started to look like the rest of Walker Buehler’s recent outings as he gave up 2 runs in the second inning, but then in the third inning, he came out snarling. He struck out Luis Gonzalez on seven pitches, including 5 straight over 95 MPH. Next, he struck out Mike…
When I was sticking up for the concept of playing Max Muncy, I never had any idea that he would drive in 5 runs yesterday. I’m glad that he did, but what about today? It’s one game. Yes, it’s progress, but it is a small sampling. I will be vindicated or indicted at the end of…
It took all of two months, but the “Fire Dave Roberts” choir has started singing and the armchair GMs are ready to trade half the team for the Flavor of the Week. Maybe the “Fire Andrew Friedman” Trio will start playing as well when he calls Max Muncy back to the majors and…
If you had asked me in March what minor league pitcher would make the most impact for the Dodgers in 2022, I would have probably said Bobby Miller, Ryan Pepiot, Mike Grove, or some other pitcher. I do not think I would have tabbed Gavin Stone with that moniker. The Dodgers…
One-third of the 162 game season is over! The Dodgers are in first place in the NL West, 2.5 games ahead of the San Diego Padres and 5.5 games ahead of the Midgets. It should not be lost on anyone that the Dodgers have had their #1 and their #2 starters perform poorly and that…
