What Could Happen or not

Frankly, I am a person who believes that conventional wisdom is usually wrong. That leads me to look at things some people don t notice and see things that they don t. It s not a science more of an art that has to be continually refined. When many investors are buying, I may be selling and when they are selling, I am looking to buy. Like anyone, I am not always right,

Let s Get One Thing Straight

OK, let s get a bunch of things straight! Not a bad finish for a team that “was just trying to get under the luxury tax.” Yep, I heard that all year. It wasn t about winning, it was only about Tax Evasion. Evidently, FAZ wasn t too bad for guys who don t care about winning. But, I do and it was a bitter end to a tumultous season. The Dodgers were beaten

I Still Believe!

The Dodgers will win the NL West and go on the the World Series. Some of you have already judged this team as lacking and are ready to throw in the towel and the baby and the bathwater! NOT SO FAST! Chicken Wings and Broken Backs

Saturday was an eventful day for the Dodgers as Hyun-Jin Ryu and Trayce Thompson made their first official appearances of the season. Ryu is coming back from elbow and shoulder surgeries on his chicken wing and Thompson is only overcoming a broken back. I have to believe that Trayce will start the season at AAA, along with Andrew Toles it won t hurt either of them to play every day

Not as Bad as we Heard

Yasiel Sierra: Of course, I did not see him pitch yesterday, but the announcers were impressed and so was Dave Roberts. They said he threw a heavy ball. His fastball is 97 and he has a heavy slider which he tended to use too much until the Dodgers told him he could not use it until he had two strikes. His problem has always been command. He was switched last

As the World Turns

A little over two years ago, I held these opinions: Julio Urias would someday be the Dodgers Ace or Co-Ace with Clayton Kershaw; Jose De Leon would be a close #2; Corey Seager would be an impact MVP-Type Shortstop; Joc Pederson would be a 4th or 5th outfielder (at best); Yasiel Puig had immense talent but we should trade him immediately; and THE TRADE (Crawfish and A-Gon) really hamstrings the
