I have always been told that if you want to find out what is behind anything, you should “ follow the money. ” So, that is exactly what I am going to do. The BIG MONEY can be found in the paychecks of Mike Trout, Mookie Betts, Max Scherzer, Corey Seager, and numerous other…
Another story idea from SpokaneBob. The game had its start at Dodger Stadium in 1967. It was a softball game between celebrities and MLB baseball players. The Managers were Leo Durocher for the Stars and Milton Berle for the big league players. The MLB players included Wills…
I am not on the side of the MLBPA or the MLB Owners. I am on the side of truth and fairness. I am a baseball fan. I want to see fair competition. I want to see small market teams do well. If the Dodgers really have the #1 Farm System in baseball, it is because they “bought it”…
The LA Rams just won the 2022 Super Bowl by going “all in.” They said, “ forget about the future – just win now!” They have made lots of moves, trades, Free Agent Pickups, etc., and they have not had a first-round pick since 2018 and won’t have one until 2024. They have been…

Over the years, politics have been taboo on this website. Oh, it was not unusual for someone to do a “driveby shooting” or engage in “political innuendo” or “doublespeak” but it was somewhat tolerated as it was too difficult to stop. In 2016, the rhetoric was amped up as the…
Larry Doby Earlier this year there was a ceremony in Georgia at the birthplace of Jackie Robinson. The plaque showing where his birthplace was had been vandalized. MLB felt it should be replaced and donated 40,000 dollars for a new plaque to be placed there, and in another…
The pandemic is winding down and a sense of normalcy is starting to return to this country. I am done beating this horse (unless you want to say something really stupid), and MLB Baseball has a “window of opportunity” to end the lockout and PLAY BALL! In general, pitchers and…
I have a theory as to why. People have their own life experiences and tend to believe that is “the truth.” We do something a certain way and/or believe something a certain way and we tend to think that is the “way.” Recently, my oldest son did not talk to me for a year because…
MiLB Organization All-Stars – Old Friends Just out of curiosity, I checked on all 30 MLB teams to see who had been chosen as their MiLB Organization All-Stars. I noticed that a number of former Dodger minor league players made that list. I have included the MiLB synopsis on each…
Some might ask what I mean by that. Simply said, either financially or emotionally, the fans always pay the price for their love of sports. Be it baseball, basketball, football, hockey, or any of the major sports, fans pay for it no matter how high or ridiculous the cost. A team…
