How the hell do I know who will win? I don’t dislike either team, so I do not have a horse in the race. I am just going to enjoy watching it… and the commercials.
The Semis should be rolling into Glendale right about now! A few players are already there, including the Japanese contingent and Max Muncy. Tomorrow, you could see the Dodgers sign Kike Hernandez and Clayton Kershaw while putting several pitchers on the Injured List.
The first game will be on February 20th, and I plan to be there.
Looks like Max needs to hit the salad bar and drop a few pounds.
It’s probably part of the reason he’s already there.
However, Max will never be svelte!

But seriously, Max is just a big body and that provides a lot of his power. But he has really managed to move faster on the ball defensively than he used to. I wonder if he made changes to his diet, weight training or if it was just more effective coaching that improved him?

Hack Wilson carried 190 lbs on his 5-6 frame–but I guess that was all muscle.

Right now, it seems to me that Outman and Pages are on the outside looking in. Kim could be assigned to OKC, but that’s not why the Dodgers signed him.
Perhaps a contender loses their SS to injury and inquires about Rojas and his affordable salary…
I think a nice care package could be created for the Angels or White Sox…

All is well going to spring training, got Kike back,, our attitude guy that gives us an edge. I don’t care if he bats .200 all season, just turn the dude loose in the playoffs. Some guys are just made for the big moments.
And another thing about Kike, we have all talked on and off over the years that the Dodgers need more junkyard Dawgs in the clubhouse to give them some edge. Kike, along with Muncy and Joe Kelly is one of those guys. Dude was my hero when he dropped the F bomb with his interview after one of the games last year in the playoffs. The Dodgers are smart enough to know this. His value isn’t necessarily in the box score, it’s the attitude he projects to all the other guys to make them fearless too. There is a reason why Teo and some other guys were so adamant about bringin him back, plus he seems to excel being a Dodger, on other teams he struggles. Plus he gives the team a certain fire when they need it. Just got Kersh left, and let’s go to Arizona.
