Mark Timmons grew up near Dayton, Ohio, and became a Dodger fan when at the age of nine, he sent letters to all twenty-four MLB teams, proclaiming that he was their biggest fan and asking that they send him swag. The Dodgers sent him a huge box full of Dodger Memorabilia (including a baseball autographed by the entire World Series-winning team of 1963. Sadly, the next year, that ball was needed for some sandlot action. Koufax, Drysdale, Fairly, Podres, Moon, Sherry, et al – I wonder what that would be worth now? About fifteen years ago, Mark was the first blogger to set in the Vin Scully Pressbox at Dodger Stadium.
