There is only one opening on the 40 man roster right now. Who takes that spot Teo,Sasaki, Scott or Williams? If more than one,someone will have to be removed by trade or a DFA.
It’s a false choice, of course, but here’s how I would rate those guys:
Sasaki > Teo > Scott > Williams.
But the Yankees just traded for Williams.
Would love to have Teo back, but Sasaki is just so young and talented.

Let’s say the Dodgers budget $75m for 3 years for Teo, but he opts for a better deal from the Red Sox or Yankees. (Vaya con dios, Teo.)
Would AF then consider dividing that $75 million between a lesser OF talent and Tanner Scott?
A former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher is on the move again.
“Left-handed reliever Victor Gonzalez, who played in parts of three seasons with the Dodgers before being traded to the New York Yankees last year, has signed a minor league deal with the Los Angeles Angels.
Gonzalez, now 29 years old, began his career with the Dodgers all the way back in 2012 when the team signed him as an amateur international free agent. Gonzalez worked his way up through the organization before making his MLB debut in 2020 during the pandemic-shortened season”.
Victor Gonzales was a key member of the ’20 championship team. Will always root for that guy.

It’s hilarious. Instead of whining about a move AF makes because you don’t like it, learn from his moves and further your knowledge of front office machinations. Our biases about Doc and Andrew are frivolous and a waste of time…..since we are dumb as a box of rocks. Hell even Kevin Malone was smarter than us.

You can say goodbye to Devin Williams now, he’s almost a new Yankee
Wow! Every time I see that inning and how the players ALL embraced Freddie, how he pays tribute to his dad, I get choked up. Even I am surprised how emotional I find it to be. This will literally live in baseball legend like so many iconic moments of the past: The Babe calling his shot (whether true or not), Willy’s catch of Wertz’s drive in ’54, Gibson’s HR, and on and on. One of a handful of events that will live in everyone’s memory but especially to Dodgers and Yankees fans.
I truly PRAY Freddie goes into the Hall as a Dodger. Maybe another championship (or two!) will seal that deal.
Freddie’s HR was epic, as was Gibson’s.
I give Gibson the edge by whisker because:
–It was more surprising; Gibson wasn’t even in the lineup.
–It came against Eckersley, who is now in the HOF.
–It inspired an underdog Dodgers team to the championship.
But isn’t it nice being the overdogs now?
We are biased, of course, but I think the Dodgers may have the all-time ML lead for these dramatic walk-off historic dingers.
Other that come to mind: Mazeroski, Carlton Fisk, Bucky Dent, Joe Carter… and, alas, Bobby Thompson. (What am I forgetting?)

I can’t recall an off-season with so much action involving big names across the majors–Soto, Tucker, Adames, Snell, Crochet, Fried, Devin Williams–and certainly a lot more to come, including the Sasaki sweepstakes.

my oldest son was 3 when Gibby hit thar home run in 88! he was sitting on my lap and i bounced him in the floor. Freddie’s home run, i was watching by myself, although both my sons were watching at their houses along with my grandson. We were on the phone throughout the game talking strategy and it was amazing! Which would i say is bigger? i can’t rate one over the other! Watching with my 3 year old son was so special! Knowing that basically my whole family was all watching was so special. My oldest son is married to a wonderful young lady from new Hampshire. (red sox fans). But yet she seemed overjoyed when the dodgers won! My youngest son is married to a soccer “girl”. Now she’s buying dodger apparel for my grandkids! So i’ll just say , it’s a tie for me! Hopefully we can talk about this again next year! … AF, please bring Teo back for Christmas!!!!!!!
