Thanks for another great year at LADT. I am still looking for additional writers – Bear will continue to write, but I am going to continue to cut back. My book is getting close, and there will be a second one. The book website will be up soon, and you will have a lot more information. This has been an incredible year for me:
- Surgeries have been successful, and my shoulder and back pain are 87% gone.
- US Water Systems is up 34% in 2025 after being up 31% in 2024 and 26% in 2023;
- My daughter is coming to work for us on January 5, 2026, and I had the privilege of buying her a new company car for that.
- My main squeeze (actually, my only one) is opening up a restaurant and bar in an upscale area;
- The family is doing great, and
- Shadrack is now a 140-pound Super Beast

From Our Family to Yours: Thank You All, and Go Dodgers!

Our son, who is the CEO of US Water Systems, will be 27 next year. My wife will be 63, and I will be 73. That’s really hard for me to comprehend. We are Very Blessed!
From LADT’s Sponsor – US Water Systems – Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!
I don’t recall there being a better time to be a Dodger fan.
Thank you for keeping this site open Mark. Don’t post as much as I’d like, but it’s part of my daily reading.
Go Dodgers!
Merry Christmas to you and yours, Mark.
Looking forward to the book.
And Happy Holidays to the rest of the LADT gang too!
3 is the magic number
Last season I had a revelation, a kind of dream, in which I saw that the Dodgers were going to beat Toronto, and it happened… and now I can say that I feel that next season the Dodgers will play against the Yankees and they will win again….
Merry Christmas!
Funny, I hadn’t thought of it. Let’s beat Seattle this time.
Merry Christmas from Panama!! Surf’s up! Fish are biting!
65 and light rain here in Indy.
Surfs down, and the fish are asleep!

It will NEVER be 65 where I live! BRRR
Merry Christmas! 47 and light rain here in southwest Virginia. we’re all alive and excited for another great year in Chavez Ravine! May all of you and your families be safe and healthy this year!

These guys are trash!
AF, make it happen. Sign Bichette to play second base.

The Marlins and reliever Pete Fairbanks are in agreement on a contract, according to Will Sammon of the Athletic. It is a one-year, $13MM contract for the Republik Sports client, according to Jeff Passan of ESPN. Per Mark Feinsand of MLB.com, the deal includes a $1MM signing bonus and another $1MM in incentives based on appearances. Fairbanks will also receive a bonus of $500,000 if he is traded. The deal is pending a physical.
Christ is born…glory to God.

14 years ago 5 years wasn’t likely. 3 years ago 7months was off the menu. More than a year ago I was told to make arangements. Today I don’t feel much worse than 15 years ago. Ain’t life funy? Guess the right to dream had always been there and that’s never wasting time. Best of shots to all. Better New Years friends!
