I’m Mark Timmons and I have been a Dodger fan since 1962, when I was 9 years old (do the math). Yes, I am old, but I do not act my age and I resolve to “never grow up.” I am the father of three children, from ages 35 to 18 and 5 granddaughters from age 2 to age 12. I am insanely blessed with a great wife and wonderful family who tolerate and even enjoy my Dodger Talk.
I started LA Dodger Talk in 2002 and we are still here. I don’t have the time I used to have, nor the connections I once had, but I draw from some good contacts all around the game who shall remain nameless. I am extremely busy running US Water Systems and balancing family, but I love the Dodgers. They are family, too! I was the first blogger to ever sit in a PressBox in the Major Leagues (Thanks Josh Rawitch) and it was at Dodger Stadium in the Vin Scully PressBox. I bleed blue and am ready for another World Championship.
A gentleman whose moniker is Always Compete or “AC” also writes here when he has time. His focus is on the minor league system and his insights are timeless. His photo is to the left.
