I’m Mark Timmons and I have been a Dodger fan since 1962, when I was 9 years old (do the math). Yes, I am old, but I do not act my age and I resolve to “never grow up.” I am the father of three children, from ages 35 to 17 and 5 granddaughters from age 2 to age 11. I am insanely blessed with a great wife and wonderful family and the past year has been a whirlwind, as my oldest son worked with Morgan Freeman on several projects and my youngest son won his second High School Football State Championship (he was All City, All Conference and All State) and then spurned football scholarships to enter IU Kelly Business School. I think he plans to take over for me as CEO of US Water Systems. Then, there is my oldest daughter who is just perfect (that’s right… perfect!).
I ran LA Dodger Talk for about 15 years – then I took about a year off but still commented at other sites.
Now, I’m back! I don’t have the time I used to have, nor the connections I once had, but I draw from some good contacts all around the game who shall remain nameless. I am extremely busy running two companies and balancing family, but I love the Dodgers. They are family, too! I was the first blogger to ever sit in a PressBox in the Major Leagues (Thanks Josh Rawitch) and it was at Dodger Stadium in the Vin Scully PressBox. I bleed blue and am ready for another World Championship.
